Privacy policy

Quventify is a product catalogue with Amazon affiliate links, available as a website and as an Android app. This policy explains what data we handle, what for, and who it is shared with. It applies equally to the site and the app.

Data we handle

• Account data (optional). If you create an account or sign in with Google, we store your name and your email address. Passwords are stored encrypted (bcrypt hash), never in plain text. You can use the catalogue without an account.
• Favorites. The products you save and the price they had when you saved them, so we can tell you about price changes.
• Catalogue usage. We record product views and clicks on the buy button in aggregate, to know which products are of interest. We do not build personal profiles from it.
• Approximate country. We infer your country from your IP address to show prices in your currency and pick the language of the site. We do not store the IP address against your account.
• Chosen language. If you switch language by hand, we remember it in a first-party cookie for a year so we don't decide for you on every visit.
• Advertising (app only). We show ads through Google AdMob, which may use the device's advertising identifier. See the next section.

Third parties data is shared with

• Google AdMob (advertising in the app). May process the advertising identifier and usage data to serve ads. See Google's policy. You can reset or delete your advertising identifier from your Android settings.
• Google (sign-in). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and verified email. We do not access any other data in your account.
• Vercel and Neon (hosting and database), as infrastructure providers.
• Amazon. When you press “Buy” you leave for Amazon through an affiliate link; from that point Amazon's privacy policy applies. We do not share your personal data with Amazon.
• DeepSeek. We translate the catalogue's copy into English through their API. Only the product text we write ourselves is sent: never visitor or account data.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for anything beyond what is described here.

Retention

Your account data is kept for as long as the account exists. Usage events (views and clicks) are kept in aggregate form for catalogue statistics.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and your data by writing to contacto-asesoramiento@vrelkotech.com. We handle the request within 30 days at the latest.

Children

Quventify is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date in the header and publish the new version at this same address.
